We are currently looking for a customer service position.
This person should have 2 - 3 years experience in order processing along with experience with EDI.
The pay will be $15.00 - $17.00/hr.

Job Description:

Our client is a busy manufacturer headquarters in City of Industry, CA seeking a qualified Customer Service Representative to join our team. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and results driven with a commitment to customer satisfaction. Work hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday – Friday.

Duties
• Process and enter customer orders
• Arrange and correspond with logistics companies to ensure timely delivery to grocery stores. Track and maintain daily deliveries.
• Correspond with outside warehouses and brokers regarding product shortages/changes/availability
• Communicate any special needs (special products, changes in delivery times, product quality, etc.) to the proper department in a timely manner
• Pick up appointment scheduling in logistics
• Delivery appointment scheduling for customer orders
• Backup for multi-line phone system and checking in outside visitors
• Perform other task and projects as assigned

Experience/Skills
• Minimum 2 year experience using EDI system to process orders
• Computer proficiency required
• Experience working with a multi-line telephone system helpful
• Knowledge of the food manufacturing industry a plus
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Has a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude
• Strong decision making and analytical abilities
• Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills

Warehouse Worker Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise

Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards

Open bales, crates and other containers
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, May also assist in counting of physical inventory

Prepare parcels for mailing

Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.

Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
Wear the proper safety equipment

Qualification requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred

Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills

Dependable and Reliable
Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required

Physical demands and abilities

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear

Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs.

Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

The Helper will assist the Machine Operator as needed throughout the shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Cut all straps and remove all excess cardboard from sheets before entry into machine.
* Safely operate standard warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
* Maintain a clean work area, machine, tools and equipment.
* Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
* Maintain inventories of items needed by operator.
* Perform quality control on own work.
* Assist Machine Operators as necessary.
* Duties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
* Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
* Knowledge equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
* Read and interpret product layout and production specifications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to handle or feel.
* The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
* The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
* The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

* Ask for Sit Down / Stand up reach forklift driver (Certified OSHA) openings.
