National Prescription Drug Take Back Day!
Carson Sheriff's Station encourages community members to participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Say on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 a.m. To 2:00 p.m. This important event offers a safe and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired medications, helping to prevent the misuse and protect our community.
Please not that sharps and liquid medications will not be accepted.

Get ready for the City of Carson's upcoming RX Take Back Day in 5 days!
It is scheduled this year on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10:00am-2:00pm in front of Sheriff's Station.
The event is a free, anonymous, and a convenient way to dispose of unwanted medications.
What to bring: Unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter pills, tablets, and patches are generally accepted.
Before bringing medications to a site, remember to remove or black out all personal information on the prescription labels to protect your privacy.
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, organized by the DEA, is designed to provide a safe, convenient, and anonymous way to dispose of unused or expired medications. It acts as a proactive measure against drug misuse, addiction, and accidental poisonings by removing prescription drugs from homes. Greetings all Carson Residents and Families!
Please join us for Carson's annual Mental Health Forum. This FREE event features light refreshments, subject matter experts, and networking opportunities with vendors and community educators. This year's theme is "Compassion Fatigue and Caregiver Burnout."
Register in advance so that we can have ample food and giveaways for everyone! There is no cost to attend, but we highly recommend pre-registration.

Art Social for Teens

Whether you’re a seasoned painter or art novice, we’ve got something creative for you to enjoy. Just choose your supplies and we’ll help you find inspiration! Join us to hang out with other teens and enjoy artistic vibes. For ages 13 – 17.
This program is part of LA County Library’s My Brother’s Keeper program and features an MBK Peer Advocate as a co-host and youth mentor. This program is funded in part by the Uchenna Nwosu Foundation.
Parents and guardians: Please be aware that refreshments will be served at this program. A list of ingredients will be available.
