Custom Goods Logistics brought critical insights to the 2026 AgTC Conference in Tacoma, Washington, engaging in substantive discussions on agricultural trade, maritime logistics, and port infrastructure. A significant highlight was our dialogue with FMC Chairman Laura DiBella, where we addressed supply chain transparency, detention and demurrage issues, and the need for improved coordination among federal agencies, ports, ocean carriers, and logistics providers. The conference also underscored urgent challenges facing the agricultural sector, including regulatory obstacles in Houston's Condition of Entry fumigation program that are constraining operational parity and transloading authorization—issues directly impacting cargo flow and regional port growth.
