Wind, icy roads and some snow expected into tomorrow. Plan accordingly, remember to take turns slowly because of ice and snow build up , stop fully at stop signs and slowly move forward to avoid spin outs. Drive safe, and as always use a hands free device when using your cell phone.

Our hearts are broken as we morn the loss of one of our brothers. CCSO Motors sends prayers to the family and fellow officers of Pyramid Lake Police Department. Rest in Peace brother, we have the watch from here.

Traffic Tip Tuesday is brought to you by School bus safety.
🚌You cannot pass a school bus either direction when the bus is stopped,with the stop arm out. Children cross in front of the bus, thus traffic going the opposite direction must stop. 🏫

It’s Competition day!! Come out to Battle Born Harley Davidson and see the teams compete against the clock. The event is free to the public Harley is open and cool inside. We have food vendors on site, misting and outdoor air coolers to beat the heat today! It’s going to be a great day on the course.

20th Anniversary Motor Training is set up! Come down and check it out! Practice starts tomorrow 0800 Competition Saturday 0800.

Good morning from the course!! We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow! The final comes and barricades have arrived for the patterns. The final test and marking of the course will be at 10 a.m. today.
We have a outdoor air conditioner and misting systems at the covered tables to the south of the course to beat the heat. Of course Harley will be open with air conditioning as well. It’s going to be a great weekend for thr 20th Annual CCSO Motor Training and competition. Bring extra hydration this weekend, but we will have plenty of water and ways to cool off for competitors.

Only a few short days away!! We are excited for all of the participants signed up for the 20th Annual Motor Training and Competition. Battle Born Harley-Davidson will be the place to be July 14th and 15th!! Outside will be officers and civilians riding and attempting to beat time, defy gravity in tight turns and hone skills they need to keep safe on the street. Inside Battle Born Harley Davidson, you will find some of the most beautiful bikes in Northern Nevada, parts, accessories, and apparel. The Kickstand Saloon will be open as well and plenty of staff on sight to help you!

Douglas the Porcupine traded in the motorcycle tonight to ride Blueberry at Mills Park with Deputy Bruno and his horse Pistol. Deputy Dickey is just a typical girl that gets excited seeing the horses 🤷🏼♀️🏍️.

NSP and CCSO Motor Unit are on scene at a crash on S Carson and Hwy 50 W left hand turn lanes. Traffic is closed in the #3 lane going south and both left hand turn lanes going northwest. Please use caution when approached the scene.
