This Saturday April 9 (2022) we will be having our once-annual M1 Carbine match at the Carson City range. This event is the same course of fire as a High Power Rifle match (4 stages, offhand/sitting/prone) except it is held using M1 Carbines and shot at 50 yards. Ammunition is available at a reasonable cost.
Following the Carbine match, we will have our usual monthly Bullseye Pistol matches on the Pistol line of the range. Lastly, after the Bullseye matches, we will have an additional handgun event just for the fun of it. This month, the theme for this event is : the largest handgun you own. Bring that big-bore revolver or automatic out and see how it stacks up against everyone else's! The Carbine match will begin at 8:00 and the Bullseye Pistol matches will start around 10:00, after the Carbine match.
April meeting will be on Monday the 4th at 6pm at Round Table on Topsy.
Welcome to our 2021 Match Season! Please mark the dates in your calendar of upcoming events.

Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range Reservations | Carson City Groups (clubs, commercial entities and law enforcement) are welcome to make a reservation or hold a special event at the range.
Members: Just a reminder - The August social meeting (aka: picnic/BBQ/cookout/gathering) is on Monday, August 3rd starting at 5pm at Mormon Station Park in Genoa. Members should bring a beverage, salad, or dessert, the club (and donations from some members) will pay for/provide the meat, coals, etc.
This is a reminder for the July meeting of the club, to be held at Mills Park on Monday July 6 at 6:00 PM. Since the state has a group size restriction in place, this meeting is regretfully restricted to current members only. Park in the parking lot adjacent to the Community Center, and bring a chair. See you there!

May 23rd, High Power Rifle at the Carson Range
02/25/2020
Several club members got together for a fun shoot last weekend at a different range, while the Carson City range is closed for maintenance.
The unofficial report is that the Carson City Shooting Range should reopen in Mid April 2020 when construction is completed. It should be open 6 day a week for everyone to use. Thanks Carson City for spending so much $ to get the range back open, I know lots of people are looking forward to having access again.
The match scheduled for 4 Jan is CANCELED due to maintenance at the range.
