Weather is look like it’s going to be a great day to run on some great Carson City trails! Pick your poison with three distances to choose from.

Join us next weekend on some of the best trails and views in Carson at the Desert Island 5K/10K/21K.

Chasing rainbows today trying to dial in the 21K route for Desert Island Trail Runs on November 15th. Enjoyed the rainbows, but the wind sucked! Good day to test gear and get more comfortable in harsh conditions.

Jack’s Valley Trail Rally 5K/10K/21K is only a week and a half away. This is the second event in Ascent Runs new Fall series. We love to put on trail runs for people who love trail running. Don’t miss a great time on some great trails.

Registration for Carson Canyons 6K/12K/22K/30K is now open! Event is September 27th with the start/finish at Long Ranch Park in Carson City. Hope you can join us for some great trails, great views and great fun!

Love Can Be Cold 5K-ish/10K+ is all set for February 8th. Don’t miss out. Sadly, after 15 years, this will be the very last AR Winter Trail Series run ever. Be sure to register and come celebrate with us. We will have long sleeve 1/4 zip tech shirts available for purchase. Will give course updates next week.

Don’t forget to register for this Saturday’s Cold Turkey Runs. Trails are in great shape. Short course will be 3.5 miles, long course 7 miles. Yes it will be cold, that’s why it is called a Winter Trail Series!

Things are looking up for this Saturday’s Love Can Be Cold trail runs, the 3rd and last of this season’s WTS by Ascent Runs. The long and short courses are set and have the city’s stamp of approval. Conditions look good, for winter! Short course will be about 3 miles and very little snow. Long course about 8 miles with a little bit of snow. Areas of snow have good traction and footing. Sun should be out so looking to be a good crisp morning for a run with beautiful views. Also, we have 9 WTS Hoodies left. Two small, three medium and 4 large. All proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Bruce Beamer. So bring some extra doe, I want to see them all go! See you Saturday morning.

Yeah! Registration for Carson Canyons 6K/12K/22K/30K Trail Run is now open. These Super-K runs will be on Saturday, April 20, 2024. These are challenging but very scenic courses. Come and join us for some fun on Carson City’s most popular trails this Spring.
