Custom K-9 Service Dogs

Continuing our way through Croatia, and somehow every street, island, harbor, and tiny seaside corner seems to come with a dog story. 🐾

We’ve been filming so much dog footage for Paws Abroad — dogs lounging in the shade like locals, dogs trotting confidently through ancient streets, dogs tucked beside café tables, dogs barking from balconies, dogs making us stop mid-sentence because, obviously, we had to point them out.

It has been so fun getting to see how dogs fit into daily life here — the good, the funny, the chaotic, the familiar, and the beautifully different.

And honestly? It has made us miss our clients so much.

We keep seeing little moments that remind us of your dogs: the leash pullers, the snack hunters, the professional sniffers, the dramatic barkers, the sweet old souls, the chaos goblins, and the dogs who are trying so hard to understand this very human world.

Traveling always reminds us why we love this work. Dogs are everywhere. The bond is everywhere. And no matter what country we’re in, people are still out here loving their dogs, misunderstanding their dogs, laughing at their dogs, and trying to build a better life with them.

We can’t wait to bring these stories, videos, and conversations home to you.

We’re headed off the grid for a few days.
We’ll be gone the 4th–6th with little to no cell service, so if you reach out, we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re back.
This time is for slowing down, getting outside, and letting the dogs just be dogs for a bit.

So we’ve been tweaking… testing… simplifying…
(and occasionally breaking things and putting them back together again 😂)
