Kaboom-Con is heartbroken to learn of the passing of Robb Nault, Co-Host and Show Engineer of Pop Culture Kaboom.

Robb wasn’t just connected to Kaboom-Con — he was part of its DNA. The very name Kaboom-Con was inspired by Pop Culture Kaboom, and Robb was deeply involved from the early days. He interviewed guests, helped host panels, supported creators, and brought an energy and authenticity that helped shape the spirit of our event and our community.

For years, Robb was a champion of fandom, conversation, and connection. He showed up, lifted others, and made space for voices to be heard. His passion for pop culture wasn’t performative — it was genuine, inclusive, and rooted in love for the community he helped build.

This is a profound loss for Kaboom-Con and for the wider pop-culture community. We extend our deepest condolences to Robb’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of working with him or learning from him.

Thank you, Robb, for what you built, what you shared, and the legacy you leave behind. You will always be part of Kaboom-Con. 💛
