With a population in Vietnam of more than 1 million people, the Hmong are one of the larger ethnic minorities in the country. Most live in the mountains of northern and central Vietnam and practice animism, worshiping the spirits of their ancestors as well as spirits believed to inhabit the world around them. Many minority groups like the Hmong receive government assistance to help them survive. But when members leave animism to follow Christ, the government strips them of any assistance and deprives them of other rights. Pray for Hmong believers as they face opposition from the Vietnamese government.

Please pray for VN. I'm going toward the flooded region next week and calling VN Christian churches to send relief.
