Get ready for a fun-filled evening with our favorite stuffy friends! Join us for a Stuffy Picnic at Lakeshore Park tomorrow. We’ll start with dinner together and end with playing games and enjoying the park. It’s going to be a blast!

You can either bring your own dinner or sign up to bring a dish to share. We’re so excited to see you and can’t wait to meet your stuffed friends!

Have you ever encountered a Bible passage that made you pause, wonder, or even struggle?

This past Sunday, we dove into one of those challenging passages: Matthew 5:29, the "Eye Plucking" verse. It’s a text that demands our attention, but it also invites us into deeper conversation.

At Community First UMC, we embrace the joy of being United Methodist: we think. We acknowledge that while we share a faith, we don’t always think alike. That’s why we believe there is always "room in the room" for discussion, debate, and even disagreement.

Ultimately, what brings us together is stronger than any difference in interpretation. As Rev. Dr. Robert Brown reminded us: “We agree upon the love of God that is for all, with all, to all, and through all. Of that, there is no debate.”
