Please use caution in the North Avenue tunnel. Cold walls and a moist atmosphere combined with strong winds have caused condensation, making it very wet and slippery inside.

Some bike-related news lately:

- The Great Western Trail is currently closed between Main Street - Glen Ellyn and Bloomingdale Road due to construction and excavation work. There is no detour posted, although there seems to be a possible way to get through just to the north of this area.

- The southern part of Armstrong Park is closed for the year as construction ramps on on the new reservoirs. You can still access the north half of the park, including via the Veterans Lakes entrance.

- In Winfield, the Illinois Prairie Path - Geneva Branch now runs along the south side of Geneva Road. Crossing Geneva Road at Winfield Road is no longer necessary.
