💪 About EverStrong Academy
At EverStrong Academy, we don’t just teach martial arts — we forge stronger humans. Whether your child is building confidence, your teen is learning resilience, or you’re training side-by-side as a family, this is where strength begins and transformation thrives.
🥋 All are welcome. Every shape, size, ability, and background belongs here.
🔥 Every belt is earned. We don’t hand out shortcuts — we build champions through effort, growth, and grit.
🛡️ We train for life. From real-world self-protection to emotional regulation, our athletes are prepared for anything life throws their way.👨👩👧 Families grow stronger together. Our unique programs allow parents and kids to train side by side — because shared strength is the strongest kind. Inside our academy, you’ll find a third-place community — not home, not school or work, but a space where athletes are seen, supported, and celebrated. Every training session is a step toward becoming the strongest version of yourself — in body, mind, and spirit.
✨ Grow Strong. Stay Strong.
If your child ever had to deal with bullying, would they know what to do?
That’s exactly what we’re working on this Friday at EverStrong Academy.
Our FREE Stand Up to Bullying Workshop will give kids practical ways to respond with confidence, use their words and body language, protect their personal space, and know when to get help.
And they won’t just hear about it. They’ll actually practice what to do.

We’re proud of Evan and the progress he continues to make in our Mighty Mites program! 👊🥋
Evan has been training at EverStrong Academy for a little over a year, and during that time his focus, listening skills, balance, and flexibility have all improved.
That’s one of the things we love about working with kids this age. The changes don’t always happen all at once. Sometimes they’re small enough that you don’t notice them right away.
Then one day you realize they’re listening better, concentrating longer, moving with more control, or doing something that used to be difficult for them.
That’s a pretty important lesson for kids to learn early:
Progress comes from continuing to show up and put in the effort.
Our Mighty Mites aren’t expected to be perfect. They’re learning how to listen, follow directions, work through challenges, build confidence, and keep trying when something doesn’t come easily.
Evan has done a great job with that over the past year, and everyone at EverStrong Academy is proud of the effort he continues to put into his training.
Keep it up, Evan! 💪🔥
Grow Strong. Live Strong. Stay Strong.
🥇 Winning is great. Getting better matters more.
This past Sunday, EverStrong Academy owner and head coach Sensei Jason competed at Battle of the Dojos, the first tournament of the Midwest League of Champions 2026/27 season.
He performed the Shotokan kata Gankaku and earned 1st place.
That would be an easy place to end the story.
But there’s another part of it that we think matters more.
After watching his performance, Jason wasn’t talking about the trophy. He was looking at what he could have done better.
His stances needed work. He wanted more explosiveness. His timing wasn’t where he wanted it. There were other details he immediately knew needed improvement.
He was also competing while dealing with three lower-body injuries.
None of that takes away from earning first place.
And earning first place doesn’t take away from any of those things either.
There’s a lesson in that which goes far beyond martial arts.
Sometimes you can succeed and still recognize that you could have done better.
You can be proud of what you accomplished without pretending it was perfect.
You can celebrate the win AND be willing to look at yourself and say, “Okay…what do I need to work on now?”
That applies at school.
At work.
As a parent.
In relationships.
In martial arts.
Pretty much anywhere in life.
Winning isn’t a reason to stop looking for ways to improve. And making mistakes doesn’t erase everything you did well.
Take the win. Learn from the mistakes. Make the adjustments. Then get back to work.
That’s part of what it means to be EverStrong.
Congratulations on the 1st-place finish, Sensei Jason. 🥇🥋
Now we get ready for the next one.
Grow Strong. Live Strong. Stay Strong.

Consistency beats perfection every time.
Missing a class here and there is normal. Missing a month is what actually derails progress.

Confidence looks different on every child — sometimes it's speaking up, sometimes it's just standing a little taller.
We build it the same way every time: one small win at a time.
