Valentines Day is right around the corner. What better way to tell your significant other “I Love You” than with a cherry chocolate cheesecake? Oreo crust, creamy velvety cheesecake with fresh sweet cherries, topped with a chocolate ganache. These flavors are sure to speak your love language!

It’s R&D day here! For me, nothing said Spring time more than Easter, and Easter wasn’t complete without Carrot Cake. I’m hoping to perfect this recipe for Spring! Stay tuned!

Ever since I was in Culinary school, I have been in love with Spanish cuisine. Here, I learned about Spain’s rich history and flavors. Culinary school is also where I learned about (in my humble opinion, the GREATEST CHEF OF ALL TIME), Chef Jose Andres. It has been a dream of mine to one day travel to Spain and taste their flavors and experience their robust history. Since I can’t go to Spain (yet) and meet in person, I like to try to bring Spain and Chef Andres to my home. To start the new year, I made my own Spanish version of biscuits and gravy with potatoes. Toasted butter bread with shaved garlic ham, shaved manchego cheese, a runny egg with a romesco sauce, and a side of papas bravas. Chef Andres, you are a culinary mastermind and my biggest inspiration. Here’s to you. Salud 🥂.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas that was full of family, love, and good health. May the New Year bring everyone all the best that life has to offer. And a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that incorporated Sweet Grace Cheesecakes into their holidays! May 2023 be full of love, happiness, and more cheesecakes 😚. I, myself, woke up Christmas Day surrounded by those that mean the most to me as I celebrated a milestone birthday! Although my mom is no longer here with us, I was still able to taste her love in her cheesecake, and I hope you all tasted her love as well 🥰

It’s pretty rare these days that all 5 of us are free to spend time together. I’m so thankful that my kids still make time for decorating. Listening to them reminisce over the ornaments they made in grade school, as well as talking about Christmas’ that have passed, is one of my favorite times to just remain silent and listen. I hope all of you take time to pause and listen and fully embrace the little things, because they’re actually really BIG things after all.
