San Clemente Rancho

The bear that was up on Long Ridge a few weeks ago came up from the old San Clemente Dam area the night before. A few days later it came back down by Trout Lake.

Thursday evening this fella visited both the Rancho and the Preserve on Long Ridge. Raiding a compost bin, then stealthly disappearing into the night.

Time to get out of here quick! (although the lion didn't exactly seem in hot pursuit)
