Help Best Friends Animal Foundation Save LA’s Displaced Animals 🐾

During this heartbreaking devastation we’ve witnessed throughout the greater Los Angeles area, I was blessed with keeping these two precious and beautiful little creatures safe while their mama was away. While I did everything I could to ensure they were protected, loved, and living their best life, so many other furry friends weren’t as lucky. These animals have faced unimaginable trauma, with their homes reduced to ash and many separated from their families. Some are suffering from burn and smoke injuries, and all are undoubtedly scared and missing their families, making the need for aid greater than ever.

At Best Friends Animal Foundation, they’ve already relocated animals from their shelters to out-of-state no-kill facilities. These were the animals who had been waiting the longest in the shelter system—those they were confident wouldn’t be reclaimed by their families. By moving them to safe spaces, they’ve been able to free up room in local shelters for the urgent fire rescues, ensuring space for the animals still desperately waiting to be reunited with their owners.

Hearing Michael Schur share his memory of his first meeting with the great Ted Danson reminded me of 1 of my favorite industry moments—working with Danson & him popping his head into the makeup room telling me, “Darling, you look marvelous!” ❤️🤩
