LOOK AT ALL GOD HAS DONE!

What a wonderful day of worship and fellowship at First Methodist Carlsbad as we celebrated Father's Day!

We are so grateful for the dads, grandfathers, father figures, and spiritual mentors who faithfully serve and love our church family. To show our appreciation, we set up a special Bacon Bar—and it was a huge hit! There were plenty of smiles, great conversations, and lots of bacon enjoyed by all.

We were also incredibly blessed to welcome members of our Global Methodist family from Thailand. Their powerful testimonies of what God is doing throughout the nation of Thailand encouraged and inspired us. Hearing how lives are being transformed through the Gospel reminded us that God's work extends far beyond our local community and connects us to believers around the world.

Adding to the joy of the day, we celebrated the baptisms of the Graham children! What a beautiful and meaningful moment as they publicly began their journey of faith and were welcomed in a special way into the family of God. It was a blessing for our congregation to witness and celebrate this important step in their spiritual lives.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special day. We praise God for the fathers in our congregation, for the lives being changed through Christ in Thailand, and for the baptisms that remind us of God's grace and faithfulness from generation to generation.

Tonight was the final night of Known & Loved, a VBS designed for children with special needs.

What a beautiful way to end the week as we celebrated every participant and presented awards to each person who took part. Watching the smiles, hearing the cheers, and seeing every individual recognized reminded us why this ministry matters so much.

Every person is known. Every person is loved. And every person has incredible value.

We’re grateful for all of our volunteers, families, and participants who made this week so special. ❤️

Night 2 of Special Friends VBS at First Methodist Carlsbad was full of fun, laughter, and joy! ❤️

Our friends had a blast exploring the shaving cream station, showing off their moves during dancing and singing, and enjoying an exciting gym activity where they could tumble, play, and burn off some energy. The smiles on everyone's faces said it all!

Beyond the fun activities, we were blessed to spend time together learning about God's love and celebrating the unique gifts He has given each of us. Seeing friendships grow and watching everyone participate with such enthusiasm is what makes this week so special.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers and families for helping create such a welcoming and joyful experience. We are grateful for each and every person who is part of Special Friends VBS!

We can't wait to see what adventures tomorrow brings!

You don't want to miss this powerful testimony from our Youth Minister--Davis Dugan. He recently shared in front of hundreds of Christian leaders from across New Mexico and Texas of how Jesus saved and transformed his life. We're so blessed to have Davis here in leadership with us at FMC, and excited for the continued impact he's having on the teenagers and families of the city of Carlsbad.
