NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Carlsbad Soil and Water Conservation District is issuing a Request For Proposals(RFP) for herbicide hand and/or drone treatment activities primarily in southeastern New Mexico.
Proposals will be received at the Carlsbad Soil and Water Conservation District office, 3219 S. Canal (Pecos Highway), Carlsbad, NM 88220 until April 1st, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Proposals received after this date and time WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Copies of the Request for Proposals can be obtained in person at the Carlsbad Soil and Water Conservation District office at 3219 S. Canal or can be mailed/emailed upon written or telephone request to the Procurement Manager at (575) 628-1532 or [email protected].

REMINDER: The New Mexico Department of Agriculture (NMDA) is accepting online grant applications for its Healthy Soil Program through noon Friday, March 20, Mountain Time.
NMDA will host two webinars on Jan. 27 – one for Eligible Entities and one for Individual Applicants – focused on completing the online Healthy Soil Program grant application. Registration is required.

Duties will include grant writing, budgets, reporting, public education, and office management. Agriculture and/or horticulture background beneficial. College degree desirable but not required.
