Creating awareness in our community for those with intellectual disabilities. We are a family of four plus a fur baby who live in Carlisle.

Striding 4 Awareness came about when my husband and I (Erika & Jimmy Owens) wanted to bring more to the walk and the community. We wanted to provide more opportunities for students with a disability. The funds we raise each year will go into an account and students who are seniors and have a disability will be able to apply for this scholarship for post-secondary education.
