It has been such a fun and busy week for Pink Aroostook. Founder and Owner Candance Donovan, OT/L, CLT-ALM, of the Lymphedema Shoppe, locally grown here right in the county, reached out to Pink Aroostook, introducing herself and her business.

Candance is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 40 years of experience whose goal is to be Northern Maine's trusted destination for complete rehabilitation care and durable medical equipment.

The Lymphedema Shoppe, also known as the Therapy Shoppe, provides many professional services such as, but not limited to, treatment for individuals recovering from lymphedema, breast cancer surgery, mobility challenges, and other medical conditions alongside fittings for compression garments, mastectomy bras, and prosthetics.

We encourage you to explore what they have to offer and share this information with your loved ones! 🩷🩺

Last Saturday Pink Aroostook was honored to attend The Pink Runway Project Luncheon in Bangor to help kick off their mission to support breast cancer patients across Maine. 💌🩷🌷

It was truly our pleasure to have made the thee hour journey south for this event. The Pink Runway Project is working to close the gap between Maine’s breast cancer patients and the care they deserve, with a focus on rural Maine through patient navigation, support services and other valuable resources.

We encourage everyone to explore their newly launched website: https://www.pinkrunwayproject.org/

One of the highlights is Daisy, an innovative 24/7 chat assistant designed to help connect individuals with care, transportation resources, answers to questions and local support when they need it most.

The Pink Runway Project is still in the early stages of development and Pink Aroostook is here to help build a stronger support system for breast cancer patients throughout Maine.
