⚠️ Road Closure Notification for Logger Fest ⚠️

West Main Street, spanning from Hall Street to the Port of Entry, will be closed on Saturday, May 16, from 4:00 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m., following the conclusion of the fireworks display. A designated detour route will be in place via Hall Street to Pearl Street. Motorists are advised to follow traffic directives for access to and from the Port of Entry.

FOR NORTHEASTERN PISCATAQUIS AND NORTHWESTERN AROOSTOOK COUNTIES...

At 404 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles northeast
of Clayton Lake, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Clayton Lake, Churchill Dam, Allagash Township, and Round Pond.

⚠️UPDATE⚠️: Fort Rd is opened up again with flagging crews facilitating traffic as Utility crews continue to work. We ask that you still use caution in the area.

Fort road in Caribou is closed on the top of Fort Hill due to a Motor Vehicle Accident involving a power line. River road is also closed due to road work.

Please use alternate routes. Roadways will be closed for an unknown amount of time.
