Picked up this hunt Friday morning as these guys were struggling to get onto one. Friday was a rollercoaster of a day with a couple near misses but just couldn’t connect. That all changed Friday evening when this little guy came right to us swaying like he was a 50” bull and im glad the guys were able to experience that as they’ve never seen one put on a show like that before. It was a really fun day, and a pleasure hunting with these guys.

The week was a grind, but it all came together Thursday evening when this bull did exactly what he was supposed to do. He came in grunting every step and popped out at about 60 yards looking at us straight on. One shot from Tim’s grandfathers rifle and he went straight down.

Great conversations, reminiscing, and more memories were made. Congratulations once again Tim, great shooting, and thank you for the opportunity!

We spotted her off in the distance about 850 yards at first light this morning. We were able to put a stalk on her and close the distance. We got into a better position and ran out of cover. I ranged her again at 454yds. Tim got dialed in on her and made a great shot with his .300win-mag!

Ed, sub Shawn, and good friend Mike with their Tuesday morning zone 2 Bull.

Jamie and I teamed up on this hunt with no other sports for this week. We passed a small bull yesterday morning, and decided to change things up a little today. Ed and Shawn and I snuck into a spot at first light while Jamie, Shane, and Mike were scouting other areas close by. As we made our way in to where we could see the whole area, this bull and 2 cows came into view. When the bull finally turned and gave Ed a good shot, he fired and the bull went straight down.
781lbs, 48”.

Our 4th time hunting with the boys from New York and we always have such a great time and share lots of laughs. Congrats once again Ed, and thank you for the opportunity!

CB and Vicky with their Friday afternoon zone 3 bull. 33”, 605lbs.
CB’s been putting in for 30 years and finally pulled a tag. Him and Miss Vicky gave it a hell of a go on their own and had a few talking back but just couldn’t put something together. We got the call last night and Jamie picked them up this morning to go get after it.
I made it back over to 3 just in time to meet up with them and watch it all go down. Jamie pulled this bull in to 12 yards and one shot from CB’s .300 win mag was all it took.
