I was chasing a fast moving storm through Cape Elizabeth and wasn’t sure if I caught any lightening until I got home. I found this gem on my camera roll and lightened it up, giving a wild vibe to this stormy scene. Right after this moment, a beautiful rainbow popped up on the right side of the lighthouse. I raced to the road behind Two Lights and saw this insane rainbow fully formed over the lighthouse. I got a two for one deal on a Monday. Keep an eye out for the next post. What a day!

Puffins beaks are bright orange during mating season. Once the season ends, their beaks malt out at sea and they lose their colorful plumage. Seeing them up close like this makes it look like their beaks are just sewn onto their faces. I can’t wait to see them again next season!
