Kappa Sigma is Back.

On February 7, 2026, the Xi-Mu chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity was officially installed and the charter returned home — a milestone earned through time, effort, and the men who stepped up to bring it back. A new era is underway, built on the foundation laid by those before us and carried forward by those here now.

The standard is rising, the brotherhood is growing, and the trajectory is forward. We are the Champions on the Horizon.

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, Kappa Sigma reestablished and installed the Xi-Mu Chapter in West Texas as our 281st Chapter

The Xi-Mu Colony kicked off on October 3, 2025, and over the last year, the Colony has worked hard to earn their Chapter’s Charter. To achieve their charter, the 26 men of Xi-Mu donated over 845 hours of community service, donated over $6,400 to charitable organizations, and completed multiple workshops on time management, the Code of Conduct, and Champion Quest. Our installation will take place on the 7th of February in Lubbock, TX, with initiations being held in the morning followed by a banquet in the evening.

What started as an interest group became a brotherhood.

Over the past year, a group of men came together with a shared belief: that Xi-Mu deserved to exist again — not just in name, but in purpose. From our earliest conversations to becoming a recognized colony, we focused on building something intentional, values-driven, and bigger than ourselves.

We didn’t just create an organization.
We created a culture.
We created accountability.
We created a standard.

This year was about laying the foundation — learning what it means to lead, to serve, and to represent Kappa Sigma with integrity. Every meeting, every challenge, and every win shaped the Alpha Class of the soon-to-be Xi-Mu Chapter.

As we move forward, we do so knowing that what we’ve built matters — not only for us, but for the brothers who will come after.

This is only the beginning.
