Pictured here on their wedding day, Matt and Kiahna are at the heart of a story that began years ago in our audience — proving that the magic of Canton Ballet extends far beyond the stage.

This season, we’re celebrating the families who move us forward by asking one simple question: What moves you about Canton Ballet?

A special thank you to Canton Ballet for inviting us to perform excerpts of Swan Lake as part of their production of SYNERGY: The Art That Moves Us alongside Ballet Excel Ohio yesterday afternoon at the beautiful Gervasi.

We can't wait to return to Steubenville Nutcracker Village this year — November 28!

“What’s your biggest nutcracker?”

The Mouse King! A most memorable character from the Nutcracker Ballet, he is sometimes depicted with multiple heads, and very wicked. The intimidation factor for our Mouse King is that he’s 12’ tall!

If you love The Nutcracker Ballet as much as we do, be sure to grab tickets for Canton Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker in Steubenville on November 28, 2026!

Our season opener is this Sunday, September 27 at the Pavilion at Gervasi!

Join us for SYNERGY: The Art That Moves Us, a collaborative performance featuring guest dancers from Ballet Excel Ohio and Cleveland Ballet. Together, we're presenting a mix of classical and contemporary pieces that highlight the strength and creativity of Northeast Ohio’s dance community.

Now that fall is officially here and routines are settling back in, it’s a great time to introduce your little one to the joy of movement.

Our Predance class is designed specifically for 3-year-olds to explore rhythm, coordination, and spatial awareness. Through imaginative play and instruments like bells, rhythm sticks, and shakers, kids build active listening and motor skills in a warm, encouraging environment.

We offer both Thursday and Saturday morning options. Register today at cantonballet.com.
