We love Valentine's Day around here! This picture shows the annual tradition of our individuals creating Valentine's Boxes. On Valentine's Day, they all bring in valentines for one another. Definitely a highlight!!

The fun activities continue! So grateful for the ways that our team engages with our individuals out in the community.

Trunk or Treat is a big deal around here! So proud of our team for putting on such an incredible event. The costumes and decorations were incredible!!

There's lots of great opportunities to gather together with friends! We've encouraged our individuals over the past couple of months to plan their own events. They've worked hard to put together invitations and send them out as well as preparing food and supplies for the events. It's been a blast to see what they have come up with. Looking forward to a number of other great events throughout the fall!

This big smile is so great! Helping to create living spaces where people feel comfortable and safe is such an important component of providing quality services. We love supporting individuals in keeping their homes organized and decorated with items that truly represent who they are.

Each month, we gather as a large group and celebrate the birthdays that are occuring that month for our staff and individuals. It's a blast!!!! We love sharing presents and cake with one another. You probably won't hear a louder version of "Happy Birthday" sung anywhere else.

Traveling to new destinations is such an incredible way to experience life to the fullest and to add memories that will last a lifetime. We work hard to provide opportunities for our individuals to enjoy vacations and time away from their regular routines. It helps that we have a great staff who are creative and adventurous.

This group knows how to picnic! Thanks to Johnny for putting this together and creating a great flyer to promote the event. Congrats to Patsy and Mikey for winning the Co****le tournament. Shout out to all the staff that helped with the minute-to-win it games as well.

Special Olympics Ohio presents Fall Into Fitness! This is a group fitness challenge with the objective of having as many group workouts as possible within the 6 weeks of the challenge starting October 3rd and ending November 13th. A Certified Special Olympics Ohio Coach or Local Coordinator should register each team to enter the challenge by September 16. Please see the registration linked below form for more details. We are looking for a couple of top notch House Managers to have fun caring for our individuals. Our homes only have one or two individuals living in them. We work with high functioning, non-aggressive individuals. We are offering:

-- Paid training!
-- Full range of benefits!
-- As a House Manager, you’ll work 4-5 overnight shifts/week plus an additional 40 awake hours.
-- Pay range is $48,000 to $55,000 per year.
-- GET PAID TO SLEEP!

Thanks so much to The Chapel Green for hosting an incredible event (Jesus Prom) for individuals in the DD community. Our group had an amazing time dancing the night away! Also, special thanks to Encore Resale Fashions for their amazing generosity in helping supply our folks with some super snazzy outfits for the evening.

Quick shout-out to the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities for putting on a great Special Olympics summer season! Our folks have had a blast so far!
