And the award for most detailed cake of the month goes to…this 50th Birthday/all things Jamaica cake!

This cake was made for a friends husband’s 50th birthday. Together they own and are the incredible chefs at Minstons Jamaican Deli in Alpharetta and they cater too!! So when she requested empanadas, jerk chicken legs, cabbage, plantains, iconic Jamaican coffee and rum…all mixed in with a little Bob Marley, I said, LETS DO IT!

The top tier cake was my pina colada coconut pineapple cake and the base tier was my carrot cake with brown butter cream cheese frosting! 🤤 Both of these cakes are definitely in my top 5 favs! All of the Jamaican foods were hand sculpted and painted with food coloring to look like the real thing! Such a fun cake design!

Simply elegant single tier wedding cake along with 4 beautiful kitchen cut cakes. And the flavors were equally as elegant and luxurious AND CREATIVE! I had so much fun with this one!

1.Single tier wedding cake: Lemon blueberry cake with whipped lemon cream & blueberry compote, topped with the most delicious lemon buttercream frosting

2. Kitchen cut cake 1: Almond wedding cake with whipped white chocolate ganache and raspberry preserve fillings, topped with an almond vanilla buttercream

3.Kitchen cut cake 2: Orange blossom almond cake which was an almond cake, an elderflower orange curd whipped cream filling, topped with honey vanilla bean buttercream

4. Kitchen cut cake 3: Chocolate cake with a dark chocolate ganache and raspberry preserve filling, topped with vanilla buttercream

5. Kitchen cut cake 4: Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream & salted caramel filling, topped with vanilla buttercream
