Six weeks. Soft skills growth. Greater confidence.
This Monday, we celebrated the graduation and Leadership Showcase of our first Foundations of Leadership cohort. 🎓
Over the past six weeks, these young professionals practiced and strengthened the soft skills that help emerging leaders stand out and represent their organizations well: communication, networking, public speaking, professional presence, workplace etiquette, and so much more.
Throughout the program, they stepped outside their comfort zones, brought their best selves to the table, and showcased their growth during their final Leadership Showcase speeches with bosses and managers.
Congratulations to each graduate. The soft skills foundation has been built. Now it’s time to lead. 🌟

Professional etiquette is more than knowing which fork to use. 🍴
This week in Foundations of Leadership, participants focused on how to navigate workplace events with confidence, from dining etiquette and professional conduct to reading the room in real-world situations.
They also worked through “What Would You Do?” scenarios to put those soft skills into practice.
Over the past five weeks, this cohort has continued strengthening their soft skills and building confidence as young professionals.
Next week, we celebrate graduation and hear their final Leadership Showcase speeches. We can’t wait to see them bring it all together.

10 months. Countless conversations. New perspectives. Lasting connections. 💫
Last night, we celebrated the graduation of the Divine 39.
Together, this class explored every corner of Stark County, learned from community leaders, challenged their thinking, discovered their strengths and built relationships that will continue long after the program ends.
As Jeff reminded us, this isn’t really an ending—it’s a sending. The Divine 39 will now carry forward the relationships, perspectives and experiences they’ve gained to make an impact throughout Stark County and beyond.
Congratulations to the 39th class of the Leadership Stark County Signature Program, presented by Employers Health!

Public speaking, part two. 🎤
The assignment: take the speeches they’ve been building and make them stronger with storytelling, sharper delivery, and more confidence.
This week, our Foundations of Leadership cohort practiced with purpose and kept refining their messages ahead of the final Leadership Showcase on June 15.
⭐Bosses and managers will be in the room, and we can’t wait to watch them take the stage and show how much their soft skills have grown.
