We’re welcoming our newest mini Highland to the farm.

“Simon” means “hearing” or “listened to,” which matters to us. Every creature deserves to be seen, known, and heard!

We already have a Theodore (Teddy), so this puts us at two-thirds of the Chipmunks. Consider this my future argument for a third cow 😏

And yes, the name is also a Paul Simon reference. We like music and good storytelling. He’s one of the best.

A solid name for a solid little guy that we’re sure will be a very distinguished gentleman of the farm.

Welcome to Mayberry, Simon.

Happy 1st birthday to Teddy, also known as Cheddar Tedders and Teddy Bear.
He’s a brick to move around, but he’s calm, consistent, and just a very good man with very good hair.
One year of soft ears, steady eyes, and quietly making the farm better. Here’s to many more good years, good hay, and good company. 🧸

This morning, we experienced an unimaginable loss at Mayberry Acres—our beloved Rowan passed away suddenly due to a respiratory illness. We are in shock and grieving deeply. She brought joy to every corner of this farm and everyone she met.

Rowan was more than just an animal to us—she was our girl—curious, gentle, and so full of personality. In her short year of life, she touched so many with her gentle spirit and playful charm.

We are currently having her transported to UGA for further testing, hoping to understand more about what happened.

If you have a favorite memory with Rowan or a photo from your visit, we would be so grateful if you’d share it here. Seeing how much she meant to others would bring comfort during this incredibly difficult time.

3 weeks until Spring photo sessions begin!

Our mini Highland baby girl was born on Valentine’s Day! Check out her curly hair and blue eyes! Her name is Rowan. It’s a Gaelic name that means "little red one." 🐮

Ever since we started talking about Mayberry, there’s been one common theme: People have a hard time understanding exactly what it is. In addition, we get a lot of the same questions coming to our inbox. Since clarity is kindness (and we’re big fans of both), we figured we’d do some Q&A to unravel the enigma that is Mayberry and shed some light on our vision for where it’s headed. More of these are in the pipeline as we roll out new opportunities!
