Spend the day exploring original artwork from local artists, enjoying the downtown atmosphere, and celebrating the creative community at this juried art show. Find it in the QuARTer and parking lot behind Benders.

Aultman Hospital is seeking experienced pianists to fill our Bedford lobby with beautiful music, bringing comfort and joy to patients, visitors and colleagues. Pianists of all ages are welcome. Volunteers are asked to perform in 30- to 60-minute increments. The greatest need is between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when the lobby experiences the most traffic and engagement. If you or someone you know believes in the healing power of music and would like to volunteer, please contact [email protected].

What happens when a busy attorney picks up a camera? For David Dingwell, photography became a creative outlet, a way to decompress, and an excuse to explore communities and places he might not otherwise see.

David grew up around photography thanks to his father, an avid hobby photographer, but it wasn’t until receiving a digital camera about 15 years ago that he began taking the art more seriously.

Since then, he’s photographed everything from neon signs and local landmarks to people, buildings, and even all 88 Ohio county courthouses - a nine-year project that took him all across the state.

We love David’s reminder that photography doesn’t always have to be about having a particular subject or style. Sometimes it’s simply about looking, exploring, experimenting, and having fun with what you see.
