We will continue a teaching series on Christian Apologetics intended to help us become adept at recognizing the many worldviews influencing our culture and how to respond in ways that are winsome and effective.

Day 7. Last day was hard. We were privileged to be at the children's chapel service. At the end of the chapel time each child tested our emotional state with a hug and gifts. We tried to complete our projects but the rain had another idea. Anyway the week was wonderful. Our church family would be proud of the Honduras team. Tomorrow is travel day. Please pray for smooth flights and transitions through customs.

MONTHLY MEN’S BREAKFAST
THIS SATURDAY June 13th at 8 am, there will be a men’s breakfast followed by discussion inspired by the principles presented in the movie “Courageous” called “RESOLUTION FOR MEN.” ALL men are welcome. Day 6. The Honduras team has one more day with the kids. It's bittersweet because they love the children but are ready to see family and friends back home. It has been a wonderfully blessed week.

Day 6. This has been a truly blessed week. The children are wonderful, the teachers are amazing, and you could not ask for better hosts than James and Brittany. Tomorrow will be bittersweet. It's our last day with the children but we also are ready to see family and friends back home. Thank you all for your prayers. Please keep them coming as we prepare to head home on Saturday.

Day 5. The muscles ache. Sleep comes as soon as you sit down. Rain stops your efforts, and then the sun beats down on you. This team wouldn't have it any other way. The Joy that each child brings makes each ache, complaint, rain drop, or sunburn go away. The efforts the team makes for the school in Christ's name brings healing and refreshing.

Day 4. Hugs are amazing and each day we receive at least 200 hugs from the children. Imagine if everyone you greeted you gave them a hug. A smile then a hug. Disagreement, another hug. Every interaction ended with a hug. It would be a different world, huh? Handshakes work in a pinch, but with handshakes you can stay distant. Hugs create closeness, relationship. Jesus doesn't hold out his hands to welcome us as his child with a handshake. He embraces His child with a hug. Let's get this eternal trend started! Who's with me?
