Venture across Stark Parks and learn a bit more about the history of the area you're in, from the historic Brumbaugh Homestead at Quail Hollow Park to the old steel train tracks that once ran through the Iron Horse Trail.
In celebration of America250, Visit Canton provided us with a grant that funded these signs, which helps to provide an educational background to the paths we walk each day.

⭐Meet Andrew, one of our Stark County Park Rangers! Starting earlier this year in January 2026, Ranger Paquelet works night and day to protect and serve our park visitors and wildlife.
Ranger Paquelet's office is never in the same place, and each day look different, from rescuing wildlife and educating park patrons to assisting with community outreach events and even removing hazardous materials while cleaning up our parks and trails.
One of Ranger Paquelet's greatest accomplishments working here stretches from helping out several animals in need and keeping our parks safe. From birds to mammals, Andrew has played a hand in rescuing many creatures in need in Stark County.
Ranger Paquelet enjoys the variety at Stark Parks- from the trails and lakes to the people who utilize the space and how he may assist them. If you ever see Andrew out and about, make sure to wave hello!

🌲This weekend's Ranger Day event was tree-mendous!
Thank you to everybody who came out to Quail Hollow Park on Sunday. Our Park Rangers had a blast getting to know our community and sharing a sunny afternoon, from racing through an inflatable obstacle course and taking turns dunking rangers in the dunk tank, to practicing shooting targets, archery, and more!
