Finished a blanket for my daughter!

She asked me over February break for a blanket, and told me she wanted all the colors of the rainbow, and I said okay.

She’s already laying down with it, after running to her room with it once I told her it was finished. Safe to say she likes it!

This was my first time crocheting a blanket this size and although my hands are a little sore, I’m excited that I proved to myself that I could do it!

My most recent project! Been seeing so many people on my timelines creating so many different kinds of art, and it inspired me to make this!

Bought the house at Michael’s, along with the mossy stuff on the roof, but used Posca markers to color in the details. Always enjoy dipping into my creative side 🥰

Tan and Purple Bedrooms: A Collection of Poems & Short Stories ⚠️

I saw this picture of myself while looking through photos and videos on my phone, looking for memories for the memoir. I wanted to make sure I was remembering things as correctly as I could, and it’s weirdly nice to have all that evidence in a device.

I found this photo though, and joked to myself that that’s how it felt writing this book. It felt like I was doing the Amelia Shepherd superhero pose and screaming out the things I’ve been too afraid to say for too long.

I sent the photo to a friend who was reading through the manuscript and told her I was debating making it the cover of the memoir. She immediately encouraged me to use it, so here we are!

The working title is Ended Up Here, and I have a feeling it’s going to stick as the title.

Excited to finally listen to the palm reader in Newport, RI who told me writing would be a success for me. Fingers crossed!

Growing some wildflowers over here at LBC! This was inspired by my cousin who has her own garden at her house, a few friends with gardens, and planting seeds with my students at school!

So excited to see what ends up blooming because I got just a mixed bag of seeds. Can’t wait to take photos of them, draw them, and who knows what other art I can create with the flowers!
