๐ฆ๐ What an incredible day at the Canton Helpline Food Pantry!
Today, the amazing 5th grade students from the Hansen Elementary School loaded the donation truck, walked the food to the pantry, weighed it, and helped sort all of the donated items.
Together, they collected an incredible 711 pounds of food for our neighbors in need!
The students were enthusiastic, hardworking, and eager to learn about how the pantry serves our community. It was wonderful to see their compassion, teamwork, and commitment to helping others.
Thank you to the Hansen Elementary 5th graders, their teachers, and everyone who contributed to this successful food drive. Your generosity will make a real difference for local families ๐

Fresh food and community support in action! ๐
๐ฅ
Today, Perry picked up our first donation of fresh produce from Brookwood Community Farm! We are so grateful for this partnership, which helps us provide fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables to our neighbors through the Canton Helpline Food Pantry.
We also extend a huge thank you to MEDITECH for their generous donation of 207 pounds of food. Donations like these help keep our shelves stocked and ensure that local individuals and families have access to the food they need.
Every donation, every volunteer, and every act of kindness makes a difference. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and helps strengthen our community.
๐Together, we are nourishing our neighbors and building a stronger community, one donation at a time.

The Canton Community Garden generously donated fresh thyme, lemon thyme, and dill today. Melanie stopped in this morning with these beautiful herbs from her garden and spent time carefully cleaning and preparing them so they were ready to be used right away for the community.
We are so grateful for this thoughtful donation and for the time and care that went into making sure everything was perfect. Acts of kindness like this truly make a difference ๐.

Sophie & Emma completed a personal and womenโs hygiene donation drive as part of their BโNot Mitzvah project on May 9th. ๐
They unloaded, weighed, sorted, and stocked an incredible 347 pounds of donations! In addition, they donated a check and still have $300 left to spend โ which will be used to purchase more tampons for those in need.
Their mom and a friend also joined in to help with our delivery truck. We are so grateful for their kindness, hard work, and dedication to helping others in our community!
