2nd graders at Barr showed their school spirit today showing up in their Green and Gold! 🦅 💚 💛

4th graders in Mrs Korosy’s ELA class worked to identify text features and explain how they help readers understand informational text. They practiced through a ‘scoot’ activity where they moved around the room discussing and analyzing the different text features. 😊 📖 🔍

Theme Thursday kicked off with a Guardians Theme! This Thursday will be Fun in Fall Flannels!!

Third graders in Mrs Kuhn’s class were treated to a “Book Tasting” today! Students got to “sample” several books and pieces of art as a preview of the book they will be starting in class.

Our fourth graders were busy learning this week! Mrs Dilley’s class learned about surface tension in class and the 4th grade Sumdog Leaderboard for our Place Value Challenge were announced at lunch by Mrs Foltz!!

The 4th grade leaders in our building have taken the first step into leadership today with the morning announcements! Well done fellas! 🦅 💚 💛
