Major League Painting

Typically for drywall repairs this big you would want a specific drywall primer. This is probably the largest area that I haven’t used a primer on. We spot primed it multiple times with our finish coat which happened to be flat, and more forgiving. The first time to seal it, 2-3 more times to get some of that texture back. This is not a recommended method, but if you’re in a pinch, and need quick results this could help you out.

It was hard to tell what exactly needed to be done when we walked in and first seen this wall so we immediately applied the first coat that way we could see what the finish would show and then we went back and applied mud to fix the surface

Applying the first coat of finish to these 20ft walls with Sherwin Williams Emerald in the color “Glass Bead”

Spraying out the ceilings and the top half of the walls in premium ceiling paint. We’ve always used Promark ceiling paint as I go to ceiling paint but that might change this premium ceiling. Paint is noticeably thicker, and it is sold as a self priming finish paint this could be our new go to with how well the coverage is.
