BridgeMill Sixes Service League
The BridgeMill Sixes Service League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit womens service organization. Our social groups attract a diverse group of women.
The main focus of the BridgeMill-Sixes Service League is community outreach, but we balance our work and play by offering participation in various social groups and day excursions. From those in their twenties, to moms immersed in raising children, empty nesters, and seniors, we all learn from each others’ viewpoints and life experiences. Our membership includes career women, part-time workers, stay-at-home moms, and retirees. We are truly a cross-section of our local community.

Thank you to all who made the 3rd Annual BSSL Book & Bake Sale a HUGE success! Our community really loves to read! We raised $3,400 for our charities and made lots of new friends doing it.
A special thank you to our sponsors, Infinity Metals Design, Inc. and The Blue Hen for believing in our mission to help women, children, and homeless veterans in need in Cherokee County.

The Lexine Harper Community Service Scholarship is awarded to two graduating seniors in Cherokee County who have demonstrated outstanding service to their community throughout their high school careers. This scholarship is sponsored by the Bridgemill Sixes Service League in partnership with ChefAdvantage, a food-service management company providing healthy lunches to schools throughout the Southeast.
The first winner was Lily Hufstetler, a senior at Creekview High School who totaled around 600 hours of service to her community. Lily focused her community service work in a lot of different areas but one of her most outstanding activities is planning and organizing the entire Children’s Christmas Event at the House of Hope for about 75 children. Lily has taken on this task every year since 2018.
Lily will be attending The University of North Georgia this Fall where she plans to major in Biology.
The second winner this year was Ethan Harlow, a senior at The King’s Academy who totaled around 850 hours of service to his community. Ethan spent a majority of his service hours working with children, particularly special needs kids. He was a “special needs buddy” to the elementary and middle schools in his area as well as at his church. He has been doing that since 2018.
Ethan will be attending Covenant College this Fall where he plans on majoring in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on roller coaster design.
