Pregnancy and motherhood can bring lots of questions, especially when you are also navigating recovery. You don’t have to do it alone.

Mom+Me is a free, confidential program at CommQuest that provides prenatal and postnatal care to women using opiates or stimulants. Our goal is to help moms experience a nourishing pregnancy, full-term delivery, and a healthy newborn, while surrounding them with compassionate support on their journey toward recovery.

Hundreds of pregnant women and new moms have found a path to recovery, reconnected with loved ones, and taken steps toward building healthy families through Mom+Me Recovery. 💙

One of the ways we support our moms is through special quarterly Lunch & Learn events at our Canton location. These gatherings bring clients together with our MOMs team, Aultman Labor & Delivery staff, and our pediatrician in a welcoming and supportive setting.

Moms have an opportunity to:
💙 Ask questions and learn what to expect during labor and delivery while receiving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
💙 Learn about postpartum resources and support
💙 Talk with our pediatrician about their baby’s care and development
💙 Connect with caring professionals who are there to listen, encourage and help

We believe every mom deserves to feel informed, cared for and supported. Through Mom+Me, we’re walking alongside moms and their babies as they work toward recovery, stronger families and healthier futures.

For Rocky, recovery is more than part of his story. It’s what inspired him to help others find hope in theirs.

Meet Katrina McCole, office manager, at CommQuest’s Canton Campus!

Office managers are often among the first people our clients connect with and they play an important role in helping make access to care as welcoming and smooth as possible.

For Katrina, that work is about much more than scheduling appointments or coordinating with our psychiatric providers. It’s about helping people feel supported during some of life’s most challenging moments.

“I love working with and assisting individuals who may be facing difficult or challenging situations in their lives. Being able to support our clients and give back to the community where I live is incredibly meaningful to me. As an office manager, my mission is to uplift our clients and help guide them along their journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.”

Katrina says teamwork is at the heart of Psychiatric Services at our Canton Campus, with everyone working together to connect clients to services while treating each person with dignity and respect.

Hope Happens Here ❤️

As a participant in CommQuest’s Supported Employment Program, Tyler has been working toward a brighter future for himself and his 6-year-old daughter. After more than 15 years in the same job, he took a courageous leap and pursued a completely new career as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

With determination and a belief that change was possible, Tyler completed EMT training at Stark State College, passed his state and National Registry exams, and is now a licensed EMT helping others in his community.

Throughout this journey, Tyler has continued to prioritize his own well-being with support from CommQuest while staying focused on his goals.

Please join us in celebrating Tyler and all he has accomplished! We are so proud to be part of his journey and can’t wait to see where it takes him next.

Thank you to everyone who made the Samaritan’s Table benefit fish fry last night (9/26) at Lake Cable such a delicious success—and to the volunteers who faithfully serve our neighbors each week. Just this past Thursday, Samaritan’s Table provided 523 meals. This would not be possible without the generosity of donors.

Today (9/26), we gathered for the Canton Friendship Center (CFC) Volunteer Appreciation Picnic, a special opportunity to thank the members who help make the CFC a welcoming place where everyone can feel safe, valued and supported.

The Canton Friendship Center is part of CommQuest’s circle of care, providing a welcoming space for adults seeking friendship, mental health support, addiction recovery support or simply a safe place to connect with others. Members enjoy daily peer support, engaging groups, a nutritious meal and access to a monthly food pantry.
