First Tee Canton

Our Annual "Cops 'Fore' Kids" was a great time today! A special thanks to Officer Flaherty, the Canton Police Dept., Stark County Sheriff's Office for providing golfing with an officer, a Chick-fil-A lunch, K-9 demo, drone demo. Community partners SCDL Bookmobile provided books and mini course with books, Eric Snow YMCA who had bicyclists make healthy smoothies, plus Taggarts who gave us a deal for yummy ice cream and Coaches Gary & Wayne, Staff Carin & Mindy for making it all possible. Lots of smiles!

Our staff is feeling so grateful to be able to give yet another successful summer to our participants. Our team of college interns, volunteers and staff work so hard in the heat to bring a meaningful experience full of learning, friendship and fun! Thank you! You are the BEST!

Participant Regen's 9th birthday was yesterday and he wanted to share a birthday treat with his fellow golf buddies! Thank you Regen and mom for the yummy glazed donuts for classmates and coaches. We hope you had a special day!

OPEN PLAY today, Tuesday, July 21 from 3-6pm is cancelled. All classes are still scheduled for indoor practice. Our other days of the week available for OPEN PLAY will be: Wed. 4-6pm, Thurs. 3-6pm and Mon. 4:30-6pm as regularly scheduled.

The Boys & Girls Club of Massillon wrapped up their Golf Camp at First Tee Canton today. They have really grown into enthusiastic young golfers since their first class early June! The group is pictured here with Coaches Brad and Mindy in front of our BirdieBall Pitching Shark!

Thursday classes were a blast today!⛳ The Canadian wildfire smoke kept us indoors but that didn’t stop us — we hit the simulators, worked on chipping into our inflatable shark 🦈, and played a fun round of Jeopardy. Adaptable, resilient, and always having fun — that’s First Tee Canton!💚🏌️‍♂️
