The Stark County Sanitary Engineering Department The Board established a unified metropolitan sewer district in 1975, combining a number of small districts.
The Stark County Sanitary Engineer is appointed by the Board of Stark County Commissioners who receive their authority from Section 6117 of the Ohio Revised Code. Responsibilities of the district include facilities design, construction oversight, administration, management, operation and maintenance of the system, billing and revenue collection.
Due to inclement weather, our office will be closed on Friday December 23, 2022. This includes the Permits and Billing offices. We we reopen for normal business on Tuesday December 27,2022. Please stay safe!
