WarAngel Farms Rescue
Here at WarAngel Farms, we are so thankful and blessed to be able to open the farm up to animals in need, along with our current rescues! While some animals might end up in sanctuary, we rescue and rehabilitate the animals we can, and adopt them out to approved forever homes! An animal we rescue is always welcome back here, no questions asked. While we do take in farm anim

J got some brushing and love from Bethany! His smile says it all! 🐴
Riding has been limited this week because of soooooo much rain! 🌧️ I know we needed it but it was a lot. Lol. Throwback video to a couple weeks ago working Doc in the ring. So thankful for Gods creatures, especially horses!! 🐴

Lulu has been taking it easy now for 6 weeks and while her splint is much better she still showed a limp in her front right. So we dug deeper and did a block which showed us that something was bothering her in her coffin joint. While nothing obvious jumped out, she got a joint injection and we should see if that does the trick in about a week! We are praying this is the solution 🐴🙏🏼 she has sooo improved with the vet. She is very naughty with shots (can we blame her lol) but Dr Megan takes her time with her and we are so thankful for that!

🐴The Riderless Horse: one of the oldest and most moving military traditions in a full honor funeral is the riderless, caparisoned horse. The horse is led behind the caisson wearing an empty saddle with the rider’s boots reversed in the stirrups, indicating the warrior will never ride again.
Join us this Memorial Day weekend to remember the heroes we have lost and the families they leave behind.
Thanks to the 3d U.S.Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) for this portrait of the Riderless Horse.

Always good to see the Altitude Shearing crew! They are seriously the best shearers and always so gentle with the animals! Minnie, Remi, Fig, and Spruce are happy to have their new haircuts for the summer! 🦙🐑
Charlie, Daisy, and Loretta got a little help shedding their hair! They get the thickest winter coats and it doesn’t shed quick enough for this Georgia heat! They all enjoyed it and felt much better afterwards 🐴

We love when people get to visit the farm for the first time after years of following along with the rescue stories!! It was so nice meeting the Freeman family. They also brought a basket of goodies for all the animals including the cats and dogs! ❤️🐴
