Think you might have water-damaged shingles? Look for:

* Dark streaks or stains

*Curling or buckling shingles

* Missing granules in gutters

* Soft or sagging roof areas

These are early warning signs that water is getting underneath.

Don’t ignore them — making small repairs now prevent bigger damages later.

Here are a few weathered roofs before we they were repaired.

Came by to do a final walk around on this project in Marietta GA today. Cedar siding with a rain screen and mitered corners (there are no boards on those edges) and a 24 gauge kynar 500 standing seam roof. It turned out nearly perfect.

This customer found water penetrating his attic space after the heavy rains in January. The culprit - a leaking Pipe Boot.

Pipe Boots are essential roof components that create a watertight seal around pipes - such as plumbing vents - that pe*****te the roof deck. Although made of durable materials, the weather, curious critters, and time may cause the Boot or Seal of the Boot to fail and water to leak into the home.

Have you had your Pipe Boot(s) checked lately?

What side are you on?

Choosing the right siding is a big decision for any homeowner. The best choice depends on your climate, budget, desired maintenance level, and aesthetics.

Here’s a quick breakdown of some popular options:

Fiber Cement: Extremely durable, fire/pest-resistant, and can mimic other materials like wood, but the initial installation cost is higher.

Wood: Offers natural, classic beauty, but it requires the most maintenance (regular painting/staining) to prevent rot.

Metal (Steel/Aluminum/Copper): Durable, fire/pest-resistant, and low maintenance, though it can be prone to dents.

Need help deciding? Consider factors like your local weather and how much time you want to spend on upkeep.

This Valentine's Day, treat your Home to a Free Comprehensive Roof Inspection!

Most roof inspections are conducted by salespeople only looking for storm damage in hopes of replacing the roof. Although these damages need to be addressed, often, common causes of roof leaks can become overlooked.

Our exterior inspections go beyond simply identifying hail or wind damage. After years of inspecting thousands of roofs, we’ve realized that 90% of roof leaks aren’t caused by hail damage. By identifying any potential problem that could lead to a leak, we won't let water find a way into your home.

Show your home some love and call us today to schedule your Free Assessment.

Sometimes Metal Roofing looks a little bit like fireworks.

This might be one of the coolest houses I’ve ever seen in Georgia. Hats off to people who try new things even when others scoff at it. Wish I could’ve met the man who built this.
