She’s stunning… and I’m feeling old. 😂It’s been a pleasure watching her grow into the amazing human she is! We’ve been through it all! The short/long and the in between…undercuts and shaved designs… bold money pieces and bright colors! What I do know, it’s always going to be fun! ❤️

My Esti Bestie was ready for change. Her biggest challenge is the weight and how straight her hair is. Our goal was to create movement and overall lift around the face while still holding onto some length. Opened up with a long fringe and face frame connecting with a short to long layer technique to the back. Then finished with purpose… adding internal layering to create a lot of movement and lift. This is a great technique for those who don’t want to always have to style out their layers.

One of the most common questions I get asked is if I know how to cut curly hair. I have been working with this client’s hair for years and every time she sits in my chair, we always end up having a good laugh together. Whenever she comes in, I straighten her hair because it’s what she prefers. We always want what we don’t have and it’s a treat when someone else does it for you…but I always say that embracing those natural curls is where it’s at! After all, they are almost as stunning as her bright smile. 💞
