This summer has been filled with tons of traveling but I have been able to squeeze a few cakes in the mix...just not finding the time to share the pics! Here's one I did a few weeks ago for a fabulous 8th birthday girl, who requested a "sophisticated mermaid cake" 😍🧜‍♀️
This double barrel (FIVE layers tall 😳) cake included hand made rice paper sails, white chocolate accents, and sugar mermaid tail topper! I was so worried about it traveling in the car with the client that I sent them on their way with a piece of plywood to set it on for stability. 🫢 I was very pleased to hear the nearly 1ft tall cake (not including the topper) made it safe and sound to the party venue and was enjoyed by all!

This is my first go at sugar flowers, and I'm obsessed. I love the realistic look they give while still being completely customizable 🌸
The sugar sheet wrapping around the cake gives it a beautiful, sparkly texture and unique structure, and it also made a great base for the cake pops!

This exquisite gothic cake was the perfect centerpiece for the soirée held to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of a sensational couple in historic Oakland Cemetery in downtown Atlanta. This cake featured vanilla-almond cake with vanilla buttercream, along with a tier of chocolate cake with a hint of hand crafted maraschino cherries and chocolate buttercream - all decorated with vanilla buttercream and dark chocolate ganache.

When your bestie niece asks you for a watermelon 🍉 flavored Ariel 🧜 cake for her 3️⃣rd birthday, you have to get creative. 🥹 All decorations (except the characters, which are toys) are handmade and edible. The watermelon filling was made with fresh watermelon, and was complete with little black watermelon seeds (handmade sprinkles) throughout the inside. 👨‍🍳
It definitely had its challenges, but I loved designing and exploring with this sweet cake and cake pops combo! 🥳 Happy birthday!!! 💕

This fanciful ivory wedding cake stuns with its offset square tiers and lavender and silver bouquet. I am low key obsessed with its wintery vibes, and it packs a lot of bang for its buck, serving up to 100!
