This closet belongs to my daughter, and despite trying several organizing systems in this long narrow space, nothing truly worked for her lifestyle or made it easy to maintain.

We finally created a simple, functional solution that maximized the entire closet and established clear zones for every category of clothing and accessories.

The difference has been incredible. Having an easy to follow system with designated spaces for everything has made putting items away effortless and eliminated the daily guesswork.

Sometimes the most effective organizing solutions are the simplest ones-especially when they are tailored specifically to the person using the space.

I share this as a reminder that everyone has areas in their home that can feel challenging — even us as home organizers. Yes, it’s true! 😅

At the end of the day, we are all simply doing our best to create homes that function well for our families and lifestyles. Sometimes all it takes is finding systems that truly work for the people using the space.

There are several different rooms in my clients home that served as a catch all- or multi purpose rooms for their children’s toys and crafts.
This was one of those rooms and it has been organized and cleaned out to be a fully functional guest room- which was the intended use for it.
