1,500 registered dogs in 10,000 households in Canton 3/4 pound of p**p per dog is over 400,000 pounds of dog p**p per year - with much not picked up and properly disposed of this is washing right into our brooks and ponds causing pollution.

Don’t clear the understory of the woods on your property. Please keep leaves and fallen branches for critters. We need biological diversity for our well being.

Our office gets a lot of requests to remove dead or dying trees in the woods. If it is not immediate threat, leave that tree. They provide critical habitat for our bird and animal friends.
The Community Preservation Committee funded Ward Well Conservation Area Trails and Management Plan (Master Plan) has been finalized and is now available on the town’s website.
