As most of you know, Tanya, the owner of Southern Pop passed away earlier this week.

She loved each and every one of you that came in to visit with her, and she was so good at making people feel special and appreciated. We knew how loved she was, but we had no clue how many people would be so moved by her passing.

The shop was truly her favorite place, and she was so incredibly proud of it. From the bottom of our hearts, thank y’all for making a popcorn store become a second home to her. She truly enjoyed going to work every day. I know hundreds of people will miss seeing her sassy blonde self bouncing through the door to come say hey, or smiling at you and calling you by name when you walked in.

Her viewing is Friday, April 3rd from 6-8PM at Eubanks funeral home off of Highway 64.
The funeral is Saturday, April 4th at 2:00PM at Crossroads Church on Highway 19.
