Being diagnosed with Bilateral OCD Leagenes at age six has a significant impact on a child. My ankles grew weak from the lack of cartilage and I was restricted from all physical activity which meant a lot of time laying around the house rotating ice on my ankles. The burden of constantly holding ice on my ankles and then struggling to complete other everyday tasks, such as homework and studying, became extremely difficult especially when being told that there was a real possibility I would never be able to run again. Each day, my dad would come home with different products to try easing my pain. He was always my biggest source of support and the one I would talk to when in pain because I dreaded hearing “ice your ankles” from my mom. Then seven years after being diagnosed, my dad thought of the idea to create an ice pack moldable enough to be able to shape and hold when multitasking other activities. After, the first time using, it I was obsessed. I woke up in the morning the Nyce Pack was still there. When he told me it had to go back to manufacturing, I was immensely disappointed because of how much of a difference it made. Anyone suffering like I was should get a Nyce Pack because it is a vital household item that can help many injuries. The Nyce Pack comes in varieties of shapes and molds to be able to easily fit specific areas of pain. I recommend the Nyce Pack because of the impact on not only myself and my family, but also on the well-being of anyone who has tried this amazing product.
