NFL Alumni Health's partners at NFL Hall of Fame Week took a break from football to join forces at First Friday in downtown Canton last night, passing out swag and talking to attendees about health and wellness.
The Drug Enforcement Administration and Health Lives Here made it possible, and thousands of citizens in the Canton community learned about the dangers of drugs like fentanyl and got a closer look at the DEA's custom rides.

NFL Alumni Health brought together football legends, health leaders, community partners and fans in Canton for the 2026 Huddle for Health Fireside Chat & Celebrity Pickleball Exhibition during Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week.
The afternoon began with a powerful conversation on Living Well for the Long Run: Building a Life of Health, Purpose & Longevity, exploring how physical health, brain health, relationships, resilience and a sense of purpose can help us live not only longer, but better.
Moderator Jesse Krull was joined by Ohio Department of Aging Director Ursel McElroy, Alzheimer’s Association Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer Dr. Carl Hill, DataMEDS AI CEO and former CFL player Gerald Commissiong, and NFL Alumni Association COO and former NFL safetyKen Coffey.
Their message was clear: Healthy aging does not begin at retirement. It is built every day through the choices we make, the habits we develop, the relationships we nurture and the ways we stay connected to our communities.
Then the conversation moved to the court for NFL Alumni Health’s inaugural Celebrity Pickleball Exhibition, bringing generations together through competition, camaraderie and fun.
Participants included Pro Football Hall of Famers Andre Reed and Rod Woodson, Commissiong, Director McElroy, Camden Chaffin, James Delgado and Blaine Hovenier.
The event concluded with a special charity recognition highlighting the Dungy Family Foundation Literacy Partnership, reinforcing that health, connection and purpose extend far beyond the playing field.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our underwriting partners DataMEDS AI, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Push Patch, Alzheimer’s Association, POM Wonderful and Oobli for helping make the event possible.
Healthy aging is not something we start someday. It starts today.
