Engineers Without Borders-Boston Professional Chapter

Join EWB Boston Professional Chapter on October 6th from 6:30-7:30 pm at 182 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, MA to learn about our Tanzania programs and our June 2022 trip! Join us after at a nearby pub for continued fun and socializing! We hope to see you there!

On August 13th, a group of EWB-BPC volunteers spent their Saturday supporting the efforts of the Essex County Habitat for Humanity to build affordable homes for families in Salisbury, Massachusetts.

On August 13th, Engineers Without Borders Boston Professional Chapter will join hands with Essex County Habitat for Humanity in a volunteer service day to literally raise the roof for a 6-family home in Salisbury, Mass. In addition to doing something really important for your community, it’s fun and a great learning experience if you ever wanted to know how to build a frame, install siding, or pour concrete. Also, a good way to get to know other EWB-BPC volunteers.

The new Chamhawi water system is almost operational! During our trip to the community, the Chamhawi Community-Based Water Supply Organization received training on their new water system, including instruction on how to maintain the solar panels, monitor the system and keep records of water usage.

International Women in Engineering Day brings awareness to the contributions of women in engineering. Women have critical roles in all phases of engineering projects from early stage planning, designing, and executing. Be sure to acknowledge and show your appreciation for the women engineers in your life today and every day!

Hello Everyone! We are having another social this Thursday at Bully Boy cocktail garden from 6:30-8:30pm (44 Cedric St. Boston, MA). The travel team will be back and able to tell us all about the trip. Hope to see you all there!
