→ Access path: the delivery truck needs about 60 feet of straight-line space to tilt and slide the container off
→ Ground supports: railroad ties, concrete blocks, or gravel pads to keep the container elevated and level

Shipping container doors look intimidating, but they're actually simple once you know the process. Here's the step-by-step:
→ Start with the right door handle (locking bars are on both sides)
→ Lift the handle and rotate it to release the locking cam
→ Pull the locking bar up to clear the keeper
→ Swing the door open
→ To close: reverse the process, making sure the rubber gasket seals properly
Pro tip: If the doors feel stiff, apply silicone lubricant to the hinges and cam locks. This is normal on used containers.
